Fact: Most people have an Out-of-Body experience at least once in their lifetime without any training or conscious intent on projecting. Astral projection is a natural occurrence. Training helps to make it intentional and to retain memory of the experience, increasing your ability to learn from the projection.
Myth: Astral Projection is really just a lucid dream or a delusion.
Fact: There is a definite difference between lucid dreaming and Astral Projection. During the Personal Examination included in this book, you will learn more about the specific qualities of both. While people can pretend to have an OBE experience and have done so for fraudulent purposes, a real projection is as real as the experience of walking down a city street. Anecdotal accounts of travel lack the necessary hallmarks of a reported delusion.
Myth: Someone on the Astral Plan could cause something in History to change and wipe out their own existence.
Fact: What we call history is expressed through the material/physical realm. The Astral Plane is timeless, the concept of past, present and future do not exist because everything exists simultaneously. An Astral body cannot change the past, but can return with the Wisdom to understand it in a different way and influence the future actions of the material body.
